About Me

 

I am 35 years old, born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, I have one daughter, I am happily divorced, I am a Hawkeye fan, and I am from a VERY large family.

You will see that I talk about my family very often. They play a very big role in my life. They are my support system and help keep my life entertaining.

My daughter, Zoe, recently turned 14 and she is enjoying being a teenager. She has kept me on my toes all her life. It is never a dull moment. She is an amazing and a very intelligent young woman. I cannot wait to see where her life takes her, but I am sure it will be very far. She is one of 13 grandchildren for my parents, and the oldest grandchild/great-grandchild on her father's side. Her father and I got divorced almost 6 years ago. I am single and loving it! And her dad is engaged, and Zoe is excited to have another Mom.  We are all content and raising her together. It takes a village, and I couldn't be happier with the way our daughter has thrived with everyone around her.
